DEFENCE LEGACY
SRG's humble beginning starts from our role model and mentor Late Dr. Nanasaheb D Ghatge (Ex-Deputy Director, Head of Polymer Science & Engineering Department, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune) who during his career as an established and well-known Scientist gave a huge impetus in developing key polymeric compounds to be self-reliant during the crucial years post-Independence.
His researches have proven to stand the test of time and are still very viable in this day and age. He had experimentally established products such as synthesising high temperature and impact resistant polyimides currently used in missile outer shells and in bulletproof vests.
Taking inspiration from him and following his research-oriented mindset to develop challenging molecules we have been able to develop in-house key pre-explosive compositions, energetic plasticizers and propellent bonding polymers in record time with the most economical manufacturing techniques to bring down costs and become truly Atmanirbhar (Self-reliant).
We have year on year proven to be the most reliable Defence Development and Production Industry Partner for critical Raw materials for various scale up projects as well as strategic projects.
